Our client requires multi-disciplined welders to work on a "double days" rotating shift pattern. The salary for this position is 25,837 per annum or 13.25 per hour including the shift allowance.
POSITION COMPETENCIES:
a) Welding processes to include T.I.G, M.I.G and M.M.A. (Just having 2 of these skills will be acceptable)
b) Materials to include stainless steel and 304/L
c) Working from engineering drawings.
d) Light fabrication work.
Essential Previous Experience:
a) Understanding engineering drawings.
b) Miscellaneous: (eg must be prepared to work unsociable hours, do shift work, hold a current driving licence, have a passport, be prepared to travel abroad, etc)
MAIN DUTIES:
Welding pressure vessels from 3mm 15mm, Diameter range from 100mm to 800mm.
Material range stainless steel 316/L to 304/L.
Weld joint from fillet to butt welds.
Duties include welding and general fit up, light fabrication work required for weld fit ups.
