Our client a large consultancy is looking for a Water Team Leader
The main duties of the Water Team Leader include, but are not limited to:
Day to day management of the WD function group to maximise utilisation, efficiency, profit, and working capital
Co-ordinate quality and technical excellence in the WD function group
Staff development, PDRs, succession planning, motivation and retention policies within the WD function group
Promotion of quality, H&S and design standards within the WD function group
Recommend training requirements
Resource planning and management of the WD function group
Undertake role of Lead Design Engineer/Project Manager on assigned projects
Maintain appropriate technical tools and champion use of Sharepoint library
Maintain skills matrix for assigned staff
Provide input to development of the WD function group business plan
Technical support to marketing and bidding in accordance with allocated budget
This is a key role in the Water Development Centre. The primary objectives of the role are the delivery of the business plan for the function group and the delivery of technical solutions to clients. The position involves the line management of assigned staff and the mentoring of junior staff.
The position reports to the Water Business Manager

Significant experience in technical delivery of projects in the water sector preferably with Design and Build experience
