Description
My client is looking for a Water Jet Operator who's job is to operate the companies water jet cutting department with support from the team members and management. This role will have responsibility for all aspects of the water jet operation from initial engineering drawings to the operations of the machine. The principle material will be Titanium along with some other metals.

Job Role:
The principle of the job is to operate the companies water jet cutting department with support from the team members and management. This role will have responsibility for all aspects of the water jet operation from initial engineering drawings to the operations of the machine. The principle material will be Titanium along with some other metals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Reading and transferring engineering drawing to CAD 2D software,
• Operations of the machine including set up, inspection and off loading,
• Processing orders through the facility,
• Preparing manufacturing estimates / costing on drawings and material requirements,
• Use nest drawings and software program Sigma nest,
• Operation of crane, vacuum lifter and Fork lift truck,
• Preventative and breakdown maintenance on the machine.
Requirements
• IT Literate, experience of water jet software programs such as Sigma nest would be an advantage,
• Ability to read and draw engineering drawings,
• Experience of CAD 2D,
• Experience of Water jet Cutting machinery, (operation and maintenance),
• Experience of saws, guillotine, and fork lift truck would be an advantage,
• Experience in a metals distribution environment would be an advantage.
