The Person: -
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will have an industry recognised supervisory management qualification or the equivalent demonstrable experience. You will have proven experience in an operational/functional regional warehouse and will have a good understanding of working in a telecoms fixed line, highways or an engineering environment, coupled with significant experience of operating in a warehouse, sores or distribution centre. You must have a high standard of verbal presentation and report writing skills and the ability to influence effectively at Field Manager level. You must hold a valid fork lift license.

The Role: -
•To manage materials and equipment spares at the regional depot, including stock control (spares database and other computerised systems), regular stock checks, quality systems, allocation and distribution, labelling, minor repairs, testing, monitor excess failures.
•To identify current obsolete and discontinued equipment and liaise with the procurement team in sourcing Grey Markets to sell onwards to assist in revenue generation.
•To manage the calibration of equipment.
•Carry out repair to transmission equipment where appropriate on test bench.
•Produce monthly reports and statistics to Regional Manager on a weekly and /or monthly basis.
•To ensure compliance with all Service Level Agreements with internal / external agencies
•To assist in the planning and forecasting of equipment in relation to installation and maintenance schedule of works.
•To work in accordance with ISO 9000 Quality Systems and Local Working Instructions.
•To carry out risk assessments and method statements for activities connected with warehouse activities.
•Responsible for the day to day ordering of equipment and consumables via approved purchase order process in support of the field services team.
•To ensure the quality repair process work of the Highways Agency network infrastructure meets and exceeds the HA contract service level expectations.
•To assist the O&M Lead Engineers in the day to day deployment of O&M equipment into approved locations around the region and ensure engineers are in possession of the minimum equipment required to perform their roles.
•Responsible for the continued improvement and development of the stores database.
