My client is looking for a Warehouse Leader to work with the Operations Manager to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Specifically the job holder will be responsible for the planning of the operations department whilst playing a key role in ensuring the productivity of the warehouse operation, and the health and safety of the Warehouse Operatives.

Job Role:
The principal role of the job is to work with the Operations Manager to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Specifically the job holder will be responsible for the planning of the operations department whilst playing a key role in ensuring the productivity of the warehouse operation, and the health and safety of the Warehouse Operatives.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Through first line leadership, support and develop effective working relationships within the operations team and other departments.
• Assist the Operations Manager to achieve plan objectives for productivity, health and safety initiatives, operating costs, and customer service.
• Management of the operations planning process
• Communication to all departments
• Responsibility for managing the IT systems in the production department
• Management of weekly and monthly reports
• Identify, implement, monitor and improve processes relating to the above.
• Operations purchasing
Requirements:
• Engineering Background,
• Good standard of education,
• Experience of production planning,
• Experience of a supervisory role,
• Working knowledge of work and excel,
