An exciting opportunity for a VSM infrastructure engineer has arisen with our client in Reading, a world leading defence IT consultancy working on the large scale DII project.
An exciting opportunity for a VSM infrastructure engineer has arisen with our client in Reading, a world leading defence IT consultancy working on the large scale DII project. The successful candidates will be required to be security cleared to SC level (prior to appointment). Responsibilities include development and support of CA Vantage Service Manager (formerly Proxima Centauri) software, full system life cycle, representing the group within prospective bid work and new and existing clients and production of Design documentation and Functional Specifications Candidates will be competent users of some or all of the following; Java, java Script, VSM/Proxima Centauri, SQL, XML/XSL, XPAth, HTML and other web development technologies, with an excellent understanding of IT infrastructure and experience with systems management which should include at least system monitoring. Experience within the defence industry and configuration control systems are desirable.
