An independent transport planning consultancy, who has a firm belief that its business' success is based in their staff, has an opportunity for a Transport Technician to work on high profile projects across the UK.
An independent transport planning consultancy, who has a firm belief that its business' success is based in their staff, has an opportunity for a Transport Technician to work on high profile projects across the UK.
You will be supporting a rapidly expanding team of transport planners/engineers by assisting in the production of reports, preparation of figures and drawings, including presenting information in a clear and concise format.
To apply for this position, you will have/are working towards HNC/HND qualification or possess A levels / BTEC in maths / engineering subjects. You must have a willingness to learn new skills together with a genuine interest in transport and have good numeracy skills. IT literacy is essential and experience of AutoCAD/GIS or databases would be desirable but not essential, as training would be provided. You will have an ability to work on your own and in a team, possess good communication skills, and have a flexible approach to work.
