Description
Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain company requires a Transport Shift Manager to lead the transport team during dayshift operations.
The ideal candidate should be from an FMCG background with experience of managing transport functions in a high pressure transport environment.
The Role
To manage and control while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the transport function.
This will be achieved through the efforts of a well managed and dedicated team of transport personnel.
To achieve targets within time and budgeting perameters and to promote Company standards ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
The Person, who should have recognised leadership qualities should be entirely conversant with performance and operational targets and ensure that the workforce are motivated, engaged and focused so that they perform effectively at all times while continually monitoring performance and updating plans accordingly.
On offer is salary of upto £30k and a chance to work with a rapidly growing organisation.
