DESCRIPTION
TRANSFORMER DESIGN ENGINEER
DUTIES
Working from specifications and / or information received from customers, you will design transformers to meet specification / performance criteria provided by customer, compile production specifications & bills of materials, and assist with production queries.
The work will mainly centre around the design of medium size dry type transformers, (up to 1 megaVA) for volume production.
You will be working in liason with Sales Engineers at other European offices, group manufacturing units, customers and suppliers and will therefore be required to travel on occasions both in Europe and internationally.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
At least three years experience in medium size Transformer design
Preferably qualified in Electronics to ONC level or equivalent
Car driver with current licence.
