We have an opportunity for a V1 qualified trainer to work as an Internal Verifier, ensuring all Quality standards in the training of apprentice engineers are met.

Specific responsibilities:
- Inducting, managing, developing and supporting all assessors involved in scheme implementation
- Developing verification policies, strategies and sampling strategies to ensure a robust QA system is set up
- Liaising with the Awarding Body and external parties, either directly or through centre management structure
- Maintaining regular contact with the assessors whose work they co-ordinate
- Ensuring that internal verification is carried out efficiently and consistently across the qualifications being delivered
- Ensuring that all assessments are valid and reliable
- Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required
- Good communication skills
- Man management experience
- Computer literate
- Experience working in a training environment
- Flexible
- Self motivated
- Working with young adults

Essential qualifications:
- Hold a V1 qualification or equivalent
- Served a recognised Engineering apprenticeship
- Needs to be familiar with Aeronautical Engineering

Desirable qualifications:
- A1 qualification in the subject matter of Aeronautical Engineering
- Engineering qualification to HNC/HND standard
