An opportunity has arisen within an established NVQ training provider for a part-time Sheet Metal Fabrication and Machine Top Turning trainer to cover the Gateshead region.
An opportunity has arisen within an established NVQ training provider for a part-time Sheet Metal Fabrication and Machine Top Turning trainer to cover the Gateshead region.
This rewarding role will allow you to draw on your experience of the construction industry to provide professional assessment and support to learners in their workplaces, enabling them to realise their career potential. Initial employment will be on a 2-month contract basis working 22 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities include:
- Tutoring / training learners in their NVQ qualifications
- Maintaining documentation on learners and preparing portfolios
- Planning and implementing initial assessments and course reviews with learners
- Creating learner portfolios to agreed standards
- Working closely with Verifiers and Management
The ideal candidate will already be a D32/D33 or A1 qualified assessor who has the ability to work with and support a range of learners and has experience of the above disciplines. It is also essential that you are able to work independently, managing your own time and travelling within the Gateshead region to visit different workplaces.
The hourly rate will be £25.
