We lead the way when it comes to Technical Recruitment, and now we're on the hunt for more brilliant people to join ASTUTE as Trainee Recruitment Consultants, add something a little bit special to the office, and help our business to grow!
You'll need to be technically minded, and ideally have a BTEC (Or equivalent) in a technical subject. Some of our best Consultants have come straight from the Navy where they gained an Engineering Qualification, so we'd especially love to hear from ex-Forces people! People who have had an initial taste of Sales would also be ideal!
A lot of your time will be spent speaking with people about their careers, so you'll need to have a good telephone manner, and not be afraid to pick up the phone! Hard working and intelligent individuals have the opportunity to develop a fantastic career with ASTUTE, and progress quickly. Recruitment is a bit like a big jigsaw puzzle....there are lots of companies and lots of candidates and it's our job to work out who goes where and ensure the best fit!
We're based in the Portsmouth Technopole just off the M275 in Portsmouth, and have a nice big office with an American Pool Table and networked Xbox 360s for after hours fun! It's a friendly and welcoming office environment and there are lots of great cafes / sandwich bars to visit over lunch! The starting salary for Trainee Consultants is £18k + Benefits, and realistically we'd expect you to earn c £25k in your first year, as there is lots of commission available for doing well!
