TRAINEE SALES ENGINEER
£25K - £30K + 10K OTE + Company Car + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + Healthcare + Life Assurance + 22 days holiday
THE COMPANY
Established over 30 years ago this company specialise in manufacturing electronic vibrometers. They are at the forefront in selling this niche product and have major accounts with the likes of BAE and Honda. The business has one main objective and that is to remain number 1 in the market place. They are looking to this by doubling their turnover within the next 2 years and therefore need to add ambitious and dynamic individuals to their sales team.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly into the Managing Director, this Sales Engineer will be covering the whole of the UK. The role is very project-lead and you will therefore need to liaise with their internal project teams. Once with the customer, you will need to use your technical knowledge to provide innovative solutions to their needs.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Sales Engineer will be:
-From an engineering background - ideally aerospace or automotive
-Knowledge of vibration analysis desirable
-Able to be trained on solution sales skills - experience in sales is not necessary as long as you have the drive and determination to do sales
-Able to develop a good technical relationship with key customers such as Honda, BAE and top research facilities
All applicants must hold either a UK passport or an HSMP visa.
THE BENEFITS
To allow this Sales Engineer to be successful, this company will give them full training on product, systems and especially sales. They will be able to send the successful candidate over to Germany for intensive training for 2 weeks. Once established and successful in this role, there will be the scope to develop into managerial roles in 3-4 years.
