This is a great opportunity for an individual looking for the challenge of handling projects from initial inception through to final completion. Our client is looking for an enthusiastic applicant with a good attitude to work with their small team.
As a Trainee Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Estimating
- Preparation of quotations
- Order Processing
- Cost control of projects
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Liaising with customers
- Co-ordinating sub-contractors
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments
Our client will provide training for the right candidate in all aspects of this role.
To succeed as the Trainee Project Engineer you must have the following:
- A qualification in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Effective PC and keyboard skills
- Effective time management, planning skills and ability to meet goals
- Clear and effective communication skills when dealing with suppliers and customers
- A methodical approach and the ability to produce accurate work
