Our client is looking for a skilled Tool Maker to within a team of 6 in a low batch - high tolerance machining position. The average component taking 300 man hours and being worth over £100,000.
The work itself is very unusual in that the successful candidate will need to learn a process that is required when making the high precision components. Our client has asked for a Toolmaker as the work is varied across a number of disciplines including:
Surface grinding
Campbell grinding
Union mill
Blanchard grinding
Lapping
General Fitting
Webster Bennett
Bonding
*Current working days - although this will almost certainly more into a shift position in the next 6-12 months*
