Our client requires an Electrical Test Technician based near Glasgow. Our client provides turnkey industrial solutions for major oil and gas, chemical and refining clients across the globe using advanced technologies.
This position is on a temporary contract basis but is expected to last a minimum of 12 months.
* Roles and Responsibilities
o Flash testing of hazardous voltage cabling
o Earth bond testing
o Upkeep of calibrated test equipment & associated documentation
o Maintenance of other test equipment
o Electrical hookup of equipment panels
o Portable Appliance Testing
o Troubleshooting electrical problems
? Key Skills
o Relevant electrical competencies
o Knowledge of appropriate wiring and electrical regulations
o Good communication skills
o Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) to intermediate level
o Knowledge and experience of field instrumentation electrical loops would be an advantage.
o Be able to work to Engineering design drawings
Pay
14/hour PAYE
Candidates will initially be working basic hours however as the project progresses longer hours will be required.
