They are now looking to appoint a Electronics Test and Repair Engineer who has a minimum of 12 months relevant practical work experience in a electronics service and repair workshop environment. CLIENT PROFILE
Our client is obsessed with the production of professional audio equipment used by DJ's globally. They are now looking to appoint a Electronics Test and Repair Engineer who has a minimum of 12 months relevant practical work experience in a electronics service and repair workshop environment. Full product and ongoing technical training will be provided.
THE ROLE
The appointed Test and Repair Engineer / Technician will be involved in the support of a range of equipment including turntables, mixers, cd players and digital equipment that is leveraged by IPod's. The Test and Repair Engineer / Technician will be responsible for both board and component level testing, fault finding repair, service and maintenance of this range of digital technology. The Test and Repair Engineer / Technician will be familiar with surface mount (SMT) and PTH (Plate through hole) technology and the daily use of various test equipment including Multi-Meters and Oscilloscopes.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily cooperation with the other departments and communication with the customers. Ensuring you are aware of new product launches and are fully conversant with the technology and technical specifications for each new product.
PACKAGE
The Test and Repair Engineer / Technician role will be rewarded with a basic salary ranging from £18,000 to £22,000
