Test Equipment - Senior Test Engineer (Bucks) is required for this global aerospace supplier. This role will be focused on the design, and commissioning of interfaces for engineering test equipment. The senior engineer will ensure that the test equipment design meets all of the product testing and test coverage requirements. As well as designing interfaces the senior specialist engineer will be responsible for the development of test scripts and working with the project and production teams to ensure test coverage. The senior engineer will be involved in the managing of key suppliers for interface equipment. The role will include the mentoring and training of more junior engineers.

The role will be based in Buckinghamshire, commutable from Amersham, Aylesbury, Hemel Hempsted, St Albans, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Luton etc
You will be an experienced test engineer with an electronics degree or similar. You will need analogue and digital electronics design experience and experience of programming in a modern high level language. You will have had use of simulation tools for electronic circuits and an understanding of test distributions and statistics. Also required are: CAD skills, chematic capture and mechanical drawings.
Desirable: ideally be chartered or training to be chartered. Supplier management experience would be advantageous. Readiness to travel.
