Role description:
The Test Analyst /Test coordinator will provide coverage of the project specifications with an appropriate set of test scenarios and test data in accordance with the test strategy.
The Test Analyst will create test scenarios and test data during the redaction of the project specifications in accordance with the test strategy. The test analyst can start as soon as some level of stability is reached in the project specifications.
Design test scenarios based on project specifications (Business Requirements, Use cases, supplementary specs, architecture, components designs,...)
*Fill in the test model with the designed scenario
*Define and create test data that will be used by test scenarios
*Participate at least passively (as reviewer) to the project specifications redaction and the individual who has the primary responsibility to plan, coordinate, design, execute and report the tests required to guaranty a match between the product delivered and the stakeholders' quality expectations. The test coordinator will gather stakeholders' quality expectation's and propose an appropriate test strategy to meet them.
A test coordinator is involved at some level throughout the entire system or software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the test strategy, the focus is first shifted towards resource planning and the management of detailed test specification and after on test execution and reporting.
