Job Description
The Company manufactures products that are principally bespoke process packages used primarily in the oil production, refining and petrochemical sectors. These products are also used in the power industry, chemical industry and in nuclear reprocessing.

Effective tendering is key to the businesses success; with orders won being efficiently handed over to the contracts department. The tendering engineer is responsible for securing these orders to a specification and at a cost that will enable the equipment to be supplied in a manner which meets the customers expectations and generates an expected revenue stream for the business.

Extensive contact with potential and established customers is required to provide both technical and commercial support for the tenders submitted.Support in securing such orders is provided to the tendering engineer by the sales manager and the business manager.

Travelling within the UK and overseas, including overnight stays, is a requirement of this role.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline, will be competent in the fully range of MS Office applications and will demonstrate effective presentation and sales skills.

Qualifications/Education/Certifications:
Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.

Experience:
Experience of mass transfer, heat transfer is required and familiarity with vacuum technology and related applications would be of benefit, as would familiarity and working knowledge of international pressure vessel design and construction codes, PED and other EU directives, instrumentation and control system, piping system design, structural design, rotating and static equipment.
