A well established Company who specialise in the design & manufacture of power rectifier assemblies for the Industrial OEM Market are looking for an Technical Sales Administrator.
This position is ideally suited to a hands on experienced graduate in Electronics looking to move into/further develop a Sales career.
Our client is a reputable manufacture, who supply to major industries for rail transportation/machine drives etc. As well as manufacturing they are also the UK franchised distributor for a major semiconductor manufacturer.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Answer telephone enquiries and distribute callers to intended recipient.
- Formulating quotations for price and delivery mainly for our distribution lines as well as liasing with our distribution suppliers to obtain price and delivery information as and when necessary.
- Entering of orders and sending order acknowledgements to customers by fax or email.
- Review morning post and distribute to correct department.
- Liase with stores and dispatch regarding delivery issues.
Applicant's will preferably have some experience of the sales environment if possible within the electronics industry.
A knowledge of computers and Microsoft works would be necessary and full training will be given on the manufacturing systems used for sales, purchasing and accounts together with a range of products within the Company portfolio. The basic salary for this role will be 15 - 18k (depending on level of experience) and there is a good scope to develop a career in Sales.
