Description
To develop a noise/vibration reduction system for the cargo bay/load master work station (LMWS) area for the Airbus A400M aircraft. All systems are to be developed to DO-178B Category D. System Description Anti Noise System (ANS) which covers the LMWS - key item we are working on is the Anti Noise Control Unit (ANCU) that takes aircraft inputs and drives/monitors a set of local speakers and microphones. Tuneable Vibration Absorbing System (TVAS) Tuneable Vibration Absorber Control UNIT (TVACU) X 1 - a multi-processor system that manages the TVAs in the cargo bay. General system scheduling/management BITE (Continuous, Interactive and System (Correlation)) I/O handling (22 CAN bus + Ethernet and RS-232) Low-level drivers (watchdog, interrupts, etc) Tuneable Vibration Absorber Power Supply (TVAPS)
Tuneable Vibration Absorber (TVA) X 180 - Electro-mechanical device that counters vibration induced in the aircraft structure. Runs on a single processor and performs the following operations General system scheduling/management Noise reduction algorithm. Drives internal vibrator and monitors microphone. BITE (Continuous only - and reports monitors to TVACU)
