Job Title: Technical Support Engineer
Hours: 9-5 Mon-Fri. (37.5 hr p/wk)
Salary: £25k
Job Description:
"To provide Technical assistance to Dealers on repair of faulty consumer products by telephone or via email.
"Provide quality feedback reports for product improvement based upon market feedback.
"Assist various internal departments and end users with technical queries and operational support.
"Maintain and update technical database for both Dealer web portal and for internal support.
"Provision of technical training for Dealers and department members at seminars and via electronic means.
"Authorisation of faulty product returns.
Qualifications/ Experience Required:
"City and Guilds 224 Part III or equivalent qualification with previous experience within the servicing environment of Consumer Electronics.
Candidate Profile
"Must be a motivated self starter who is able to work on their own and as part of a team.
"Must be able to diagnose product failures to component level across the range of consumer electronic products, familiarity with Panasonic products would be an advantage.
"Good oral and written communication skills essential.
"Must be computer literate including MS office software.
"Customer focussed.
"Able to work to time constraints and deadlines within a busy and demanding environment.
