An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Advisor to join a rapidly growing DIY and power tools company which delivers a first class service to its customers.

An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Advisor to join a rapidly growing DIY and power tools company which delivers a first class service to its customers.

This role will initially be based in Marlow, Bucks and will relocate to their new offices in Didcot, Oxfordshire after approximately 6 months, therefore the role would suit an individual based in or around the Reading area. Your role will include:-

Providing telephone support assistance on all service aspects from technical advice to warranty support for their branded power tools. In particular, assisting dealers or end users on specifics such as:-

- Fault diagnosis with machines
- Advise spare part numbers from technical drawings
- Provide a solution for customers whose issues cannot be resolved over the phone
- Recommend the best tool and accessories for the specific customer requirement

Compiling and interpreting KPI's to detail the types, volumes and nature of all calls

The successful applicant will have previous customer service, technical support or similar experience or alternatively you will have a background gained within engineering, DIY or power tools and possess strong customer service skills. You should have a competent and friendly telephone manager and be able to communicate at all levels from customers to management, competent IT skills are also important. This role offers a salary of 18 - 24K (depending on experience)
