An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Technical Sales Support Engineer for a leading international company manufacturing subsea instrumentation specialising in solutions for underwater navigation for offshore oil exploration.
The right candidate will have ROV/Survey/Offshore Engineering work related experience and have gained Offshore Oil and Gas industry awareness and understanding.
In this role you will proactively support the direct sales team and assist in day to day sales activities aimed at increasing the commercial success of the Regional Sales Office and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for accounts in Aberdeen, Africa, Russia and Europe. There will be travel requirements upon completion of training.
Responsibilities:
-To prepare sales quotations, using the CRM system, for standard products and spares, ensuring accurate and timely provision of information and adherence to Company commercial processes and authorisation levels.
-To provide comprehensive advice and guidance in response to customer inquiries regarding technical specifications, product selection and general sales information.
-To collect, analyse and present market research data for specific industry area/geographical territories enabling identification and development of new business opportunities and maximisation of existing markets.
-To liaise with key customers across the territory ensuring they are kept fully updated regarding the status of their sales orders.
-To develop Account management responsibilities for specified areas of business, establishing effective two way communication channels through regular scheduled visits.
Requirements:
-HNC/HND Electro/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
-Offshore Oil and Gas industry awareness/understanding.
-ROV/Survey/Offshore Engineering work related experience.
-Commercial acumen.
-Willingness to do international travel.
Salary:- £35-40k dependant on experience.
