Description
Our client is one of Europe's leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consultancies covering all aspects of PLM within the Engineering & Product development sector.
Due to increased product plans and growth they require the skills of an experienced Technical Sales person to develop PLM (Product Life Cycle Mgmt) support capability in the UK.

Due to increased product plans and growth, they require the skills of an experienced Technical Sales person to develop PLM (Product Life Cycle Mgmt) support capability in the UK.
Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities will include;
Key Account Mgmt for Automotive OEMs (supporting existing and new clients).
Customer & Market oriented sales, specifically to understand the current PLM (Product life cycle management) market and how best we can infiltrate it with our product.
Developing and growing our current and existing business within Automotive OEMs.
Processing of quotes and orders.
Contract negotiation.
Liaising with internal engineering and recruitment teams to provide a full service solution to the customer.
Skills and Experience
Minimum HNC in a technical/commercial/IT discipline essential. Degree in a technical/commercial or IT discipline desirable.
Previous experience in a technical sales or commercial Engineering role within the automotive industry essential.
Experience in Product design/development desirable.
Previous account management experience essential.
PLM systems knowledge essential, knowledge of Teamcentre PLM software solution capability desirable.
Experience facilitating business requirements such as application design/configuration & integrated testing activities desirable.
MCAD, ECAD, Product data mgmt systems experience desirable.
A communicative and proactive approach to developing business and relationships is key to the success of the position.
Fluent Written and verbal English language skills are essential. German language skills desirable.
This role will require up to 20% European travel and domestic travel to fulfil the requirements of the role.
