Our client is a leading packaging machine manufacturer employing 9000 people worldwide with a turnover of £2 billion; their British subsidiary has a long established and well-proven infrastructure, providing a comprehensive range of sales and after sales services, including turnkey project design and implementation to companies operating in most branches of the FMCG sector. As a result of continued success they currently wish to recruit two Technical Sales / Project Managers to join their existing team.
To be responsible for supporting Field Sales Managers on customer visits and presentations; reviewing enquiry documentation and agreeing specifications; preparing detailed tender documentation; preparing layout proposals in conjunction with CAD draughtspersons; involvement in initial design of build specification; finalising all commercial issues with sales management; preparation of Health & Safety and CDM requirements for installations; on site and office based project management and identifying and monitoring contract variation.
It is essential that you a sound electrical or mechanical engineering background, with experience of industrial automated machinery from the food and packaging or similar industry, have CAD layout skills, together with experience in Technical Sales roles and / or Project Management positions.
In return you can expect a salary from £30,000 to £38,000 (dependent on Junior / Senior role), yearly bonus, company car, laptop, phone, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and 29 days holiday (inclusive of statuary).
