Sales Engineer - Hertfordshire
Our Client is the technology leader in the high-tech field of fibre-optic monitoring solutions and is a dynamic, growing company with a global presence.
The key responsibilities will be:
Develop and maintain existing customer base and focal point for customer support.
Respond to general sales enquiries, while making the most of every opportunity to bring on board prospective new accounts.
Preparing technical proposals and tenders to final draft stage and follow-up proposals with customer.
Liaise with accounts department to ensure timely payments.
Coordinate logistics with the production and operations teams for smooth running of projects.
Ideally we are seeking someone with 2-5 years of commercial experience, technical background (engineering, IT) and/or previous experience in sales/marketing; or alternatively a recent graduate who has strong communication skills and commercial acumen. Most important is that the candidate is energetic and has a strong desire to work in sales & marketing. We will consider strong candidates of all backgrounds who possess the following key attributes.
Ability to communicate clearly on all levels and must be able to engage with the customer.
A strong technical background and the ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
Superior commercial awareness.
Self starter and able to take responsibility for key assignments.
Candidate must be authorized to work in the UK.
Salary will be negotiable and depends on experience. The package will include a bonus as well as excellent benefits.
