With an unrivalled position in the supply of engineered products and services our client, part of an international group, commands a market leading position with an immediately identifiable brand identity. Their gears/power transmissions business has enjoyed exceptional year-on-year growth and is strongly represented in the process engineering, chemical, environmental and general industrial sectors. Due to their fantastic success and development within the gears/power transmissions sector, the opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced and already successful Technical Sales Engineer for the West Midlands Region.

With a strong engineering appreciation, you will already have gained experience of selling gears/power transmissions through both distribution channels and direct. Commercially strong, you will have a proven track record of developing new business opportunities and building existing relationships within the current customer base. As an ambitious and enthusiastic individual, you will be able to work with a high degree of autonomy, managing your own activities, visits and action plans to achieve your own and the businesss objectives.

This new position, reporting to the Regional Director, will entail responsibility for expanding sales through their established distribution network in the West Midlands and in developing new end user and OEM business within the territory. This field based role, will demand extensive face to face contact with customers. Additionally, your input on a strategic level will be fundamental in guiding the future direction of their business.
