An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Sales Engineer for a long established UK manufacturer of fixed gas detection equipment with sales world-wide.
The right candidate will be an experienced technical sales engineer with experience in gas detection or other instrumentation. The company are looking for someone to cover the territories of the Home Counties, East Anglia, Greater London, South West, South Wales and the South Midlands.
The company currently sell products into the water treatment, construction, brewing, power generation, nuclear, local authority and chemical industries. The right candidate will have some experience of these markets.
Responsibilities:
-Development of existing accounts and the establishing of new customers.
-Offering technical support to the client.
-Initiating the quotations for the products.
-Working within the company sales team and passing leads.
-Consultative approach, developing rapport with customers before significant orders are achieved.
Requirements:
-Instrumentation/ Gas detection experience ideal.
-Ability to work independently.
-Have a good track record of market development.
-Strong planning skills.
-Electrical knowledge or experience would be beneficial.
-Working from home.
Salary:- £30-35k dependant on experience.
Benefits:- Bonus £5-6k, company car, profit share, pension and medical.
