The Technical Resource will be required to support the project staff at the direction of the Programme Manager
My Client requires a Technical Resource as part of a technical assurance team for the IT element of a major rationalisation programme. The Technical Resource will be required to support the project staff at the direction of the Programme Manager.
Responsibilites:
Provide technical resource for the Desktop delivery project
Ensure compliance with Military strategy and policies with respect to IS requirements with respect to all 'new build' and legacy estate equipement under the guidance of the technical lead.
Ensure that the approach for the desktop delivery project is viable and be the technical point of contact for the Desktop delivery project through the programme manager.
Provide technical support and guidance as required to the programme and other projects within the programme.
Skills preferred:
An appropriate qualification/working knowledge within the IT industry (MCSE/ITIL or equivalent)
Having held a previous role in a technical position within an IT support contract role in an MOD environment
A sound awareness of IT technologies
Be capable of delivering IT to the MOD
Due to the nature of the business all applicants must have current valid SC Security Clearance.
