Description

A truly global organisation with a turnover of in excess of $8 billion and growing, our client is a renowned manufacturer of high quality capital equipment. They serve a diverse and demanding customer base, marketing in excess of 50 respected brands, covering a range of products for construction, infrastructure, quarrying, recycling, mining, shipping, transportation and refining.

They have expanded dramatically over recent years, through a series of focused acquisitions and divestitures.

We now seek the appointment of a high calibre individual to tackle this new role at an extremely exciting time in the organisations development. The business is creating a global Technical Support function across all product sites and this position will ensure consistency and best practice. As such, you will be responsible on a global basis for the design, creation and maintenance of class leading technical publications (catalogues, service manuals, operator manuals, etc) and service bills of material. You will create a unified team across multiple factory locations and will develop a globally consistent process.

Of graduate calibre, relevant individuals will have a proven track record in the creation of leading edge technical publications. As such, it is likely that you have operated in an environment of excellence and have gained your expertise ideally with a major OEM in the automotive, high value capital equipment, specialist/off road vehicles, aerospace or cruise liner/ships sectors. The type to hit the ground running, you will have outstanding influencing skills and the stature and credibility to take the business to the next level in its development.

A pivotal, multi-faceted role, this will appeal to a candidate who is already with a substantial blue chip organisation and displaying the ability to lead improvement. The final package will be highly competitive to include base salary, car, bonus potential plus all the other usual benefits for a position at this level. Also, should relocation be appropriate then a full relocation package will be made available. This appointment is seen as a key move in the further development of this division and the successful candidate would not see this as their final career move.

Those interested in this significant challenge, please respond with full CV and package details, quoting reference 115-209.
