A market leader in the sale of sterilization equipment and after-sales support to the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries urgently requires a Technical Project Engineer to join the busy sales and projects department.
Due to continued growth, a permanent position has arisen for a Technical Project Engineer to join this specialist market leader.
The role will initially be as an internal engineer working within the company's combined sales and projects department. Assisting in the preparation of large bids and project managing contracts successfully won, your role will be of high importance working in a small dedicated team within a small but successful company.
All of the customers are involved in the pharmaceutical or medical devices manufacturing industry and the equipment is an integral component in the manufacture of their sterile products.
As Technical Project Engineer you will be joining a team of engineers, and assist the Sales Manager to reinforce the company's sector leading position and directly contribute to planned growth.
Once sales are made the company need to closely manage their customers and suppliers to ensure that projects are delivered effectively and professionally.
To successfully apply for the position as Technical Project Engineer it is essential that you have a technical background and qualifications ( Engineering / Science Degree + technical work experience). It is also essential that you have the ability to communicate clearly and expressively, as you will be liaising with customers on a regular basis.
The position will be based in Oxted, Surrey, so you should either live within commuting distance, or be happy to relocate to the area.
The Basic Salary for the position of Technical Project Engineer will be £23-35K (depending on experience, negotiable) + Bonus opportunity, 25 days holiday.
There will be significant opportunity to progress in either the commercial or project management direction.
