Our world renowned client is responsible for the delivery of robust, high integrity state of the art infrastructure solutions to the transportation industry throughout the world. As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are keen to recruit the key position of Technical Manager to compliment the existing team of high calibre engineering professionals and drive the business forward.

As a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, they are keen to recruit the key position of Technical Manager to compliment the existing team of high calibre engineering professionals and drive the business forward.
Responsibilities will include the management of company standards, development of solutions against client enquiries (and may include subsequent generation of costings), and liaising / providing support to project teams. The ideal candidate will be a proven systems engineer, with experience of PLC Control & Monitoring Solutions, Ethernet networks, and / or the transmission of video and audio over IP, and familiarity with the transportation industry would be an advantage. As average project values have increased considerably and now average £5m, quality, professionalism and commitment are essential requirements for this individual. Currently employing 37 people but with major expansion planned over the coming months, the company are primarily a Systems Integrator and Project lead times can average 2-3 years with each phase likely to last 3 months at a time.
