My Client requires a Technical Lead to head up the programme technical team (as part of the technical assurance for the programme) for the IT element of major rationalisation programme.
My Client requires a Technical Lead to head up the programme technical team (as part of the technical assurance for the programme) for the IT element of major rationalisation programme.
Responsibilites:
Lead the technical requirements for the Data Centre project
Ensure compliance with Military strategy and policies with respect to IS requirements with respct to all 'New Build' and legacy estate equipment.
Ensure that issues such as connectivity and legacy estate equipment moves are carried out under the direction of the DC Project Manager
Provide technical support and guidance as required to the programme and other projects within the programme.
Be the technical point of contact for the programme through the programme manager.
Preferred skills:
An appropriate qualification/background within the IT industry (MCSE/ITIL or equivalent)
Having held a similar role eg IT Manager etc
A sound awareness of IT technologies
Prior delivery knowledge of providing IT capability to the MOD
Due to the nature of the business all applicants must have current valid SC security clearance
