Description
An opportunity has arisen within Cummins Power Generation, Kent (CPGK) for an Autocad Technical Drafter. The role will initially involve the preparation of general arrangement drawings, control circuit diagrams and project documentation working on a range of engineered projects; It is expected that this role will expand to taking responsibility for the engineering of smaller projects.
An opportunity has arisen within Cummins Power Generation, Kent (CPGK) for an Autocad Technical Drafter. The role will initially involve the preparation of general arrangement drawings, control circuit diagrams and project documentation working on a range of engineered projects; It is expected that this role will expand to taking responsibility for the engineering of smaller projects.
Duties include development of engineering project documentation such as single line diagrams, schematic diagrams, general arrangement drawings, bills of materials and project documentation, creation and issuing of global part numbers for specific projects and products and entry of high level data into the Corporate information technology system.

Essential Skills and Experience:
Applicants should preferably have City & Guilds / ONC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent, Electrical/Controls background ideally gained within the Power Generation Industry, good communication skills, logical thinking, strong organisational skills, team working, AutoCAD Design Tools, and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
