£20,000 - £30,000+ DOE
For over sixty years, our client has been translating design concepts into powerful signals. As Sign Industry Award winners, they design, manufacture, install and maintain signs for some of Britain's biggest businesses. They are now looking to expand their Technical Design and Drawing team based in East Kilbride, and an opportunity has now arisen for a Technical Designer / Draughtsman.

The company has premises in the south and they are currently targeting London Olympic contracts which may involve some travel to visit clients in that area.

Applying your proven experience in a similar position, as a Technical Designer / Draughtsman you will assist with producing reports, technical solutions, and visuals and technical drawings for presentation to clients and ultimately for workshop manufacture.
To succeed as the Technical Designer / Draughtsman you should have experience in some form of engineering design or be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Illustrator, Coral Draw or Composer. 3D CAD experience would also be of interest.
