Our client is a World class manufacturer of machine tools used in the sheet metal industry and currently has a requirement for an additional Technical Consultant Engineer. The role will be based at the head office in Worcestershire but will occasionally require travel throughout the UK. The role would ideally suit someone currently working in a similar position, for example as an Applications Engineer, or a recent graduate keen to work in a hands on, customer facing environment.

Main requirements of the role
- Provide customer training on machines and software
- Commission, install and maintain machines in the head office showroom
- Demonstrate machine capabilities to customers in head office and at customer sites
- Analyse current customer working methods and advise on improvements
- Give technical support to customers and staff over the telephone
Key attributes required
- Minimum of HNC in relevant subject
- Proven interest or experience in this discipline
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
