Description
A market leading Special Purpose Machinery company are looking for a Technical Author. Working with the Semi conductor industry this worldwide company are expanding their hold on the market. Working on a 3 month rolling contract basis and running on a renewable contract basis thereafter. The majority of contract staff there have been there 12 months + .
The successful candidate will have a general engineering background and good literal skills. Previous knowledge of Frame maker is required. You will be working autonomously creating the maintenance and service manuals for the machinery that is found throughout the world. The largest part of this role is research and interrogation based where you will be expected to find out how the kit works and what the most efficient way of maintaining the systems are. You will need to be confident in your approach, able to learn quickly and extract the right information from the relevant engineers.
The position will be working along side some of the greatest minds in the business in departments such as design, test, manufacture and also the development laboratories.
