A telecommunications company is seeking a Technical Author to join their team in Fareham to create customer deliverable technical documentation for their products and applications. All applicants must have a strong knowledge of FrameMaker.
A telecommunications company is seeking a Technical Author to join their team in Fareham to create customer deliverable technical documentation for their products and applications. All applicants must have a strong knowledge of FrameMaker.
Key functions for this role include originating and maintaining documentation for our clients products and ongoing releases as well as reviewing documentation produced by other team members. The role is also responsible for checking technical content and presentation of customer-facing documents and for advising project engineers on usability and documentation issues.
The right candidate will be of graduate calibre and ideally have a degree or HND in computing, telecommunications or other scientific/technical discipline. He or she will need to have strong technical communication skills, be a fast learner and have a general technical knowledge of computers and programmable systems. The successful candidate will also be highly literate with faultless grammar and spelling. He or she should be detail and quality conscious and be able to respond successfully to timescale pressure.
