To provide technical author services within the In-Service Support Department.
To produce technical manuals to support the systems manufactured at the Norwich factory. The equipment will be supplied to UK MoD and other military users worldwide.
A major part of the task will be liaison with the design engineers and the drawing office during the design and build stages of the equipment systems to produce technical manuals to be used by the operators and maintainers of the equipment in service.
The author would ideally have a recognised technical writing/authorship qualification and have experience producing technical manuals to a military standard using Microsoft Word, Visio and Adobe, XML/HTML.
Candidates should have a mechanical/electrical background, preferably in a military environment.
Familiarisation with MoD procedures and technical publication procedures would be a distinct advantage. Norwich, Norfolk. £24/£25k negotiable.
