As the worlds leading manufacturer of precision dispensing systems, our client has helped thousands of companies throughout the world. Their systems help to apply controlled amounts of the adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other assembly fluids and are used in almost every manufacturing process throughout the globe. They are now looking to recruit a Technical Applications Support Engineer to join their UK office in Dunstable.

As the worlds leading manufacturer of precision dispensing systems, our client has helped thousands of companies throughout the world. Their systems help to apply controlled amounts of the adhesives, sealants, lubricants and other assembly fluids and are used in almost every manufacturing process throughout the globe. They are now looking to recruit a Technical Applications Support Engineer to join their UK office in Dunstable.

As a Technical Applications Support Engineer you will be responsible for communicating with customers, International Sales teams, Research and Development teams (R&D), and Marketing departments to support them with technical and product issues across the companys product portfolio. This role will also involve working with the R&D team to develop product improvements and new products, providing you with the chance to demonstrate your innovative and creative ideas.

A key part of your role will also involve providing technical support to European Customers and Sales Channels, which will require your excellent communication skills, and occasional travel to sites in Europe.

As the Technical Applications Support Engineer you will also be responsible for:

- providing technical support and R&D skills in the development of new products
- liaising with the US Headquarters regarding testing and production trials of new product releases/product development
- supporting and promoting the quality program
- co-ordinating and providing product training materials

To succeed in this role you must be a qualified Engineer with experience in practical manufacturing and ideally, a background in pneumatics, hydraulics and electrics. You must also have a working knowledge of an engineering software package, preferably Solid Works or CAD.

Although not essential, ideally you will also have an Engineering degree (or equivalent).
