Our client a leading engineering consultancy working in the UK water industry have an exciting opportunity to join their water projects team as a team leader / Principal infrastructure engineer.
Our client a leading engineering consultancy working in the UK water industry have an exciting opportunity to join their water projects team as a team leader / Principal infrastructure engineer.
The primary focus of this role is to lead a team of up to ten staff delivering to a wide portfolio of utility company, design and build contractor, developer and internal clients in the areas of:
- Urban drainage design and drainage infrastructure
- SUDS and integrated urban drainage management
- wastewater treatment works
- inland waterways and regeneration
- Large diameter pipeline construction and maintenance
The successful candidate will be a chartered civil engineer either (ICE/CIWEM), will be technically strong in the areas of drainage, infrastructure and general water engineering with a "hands-on" approach to technical delivery. Ideally they will have a proven ability to successfully manage a portfolio of projects and a proven line management ability ( including the developing and mentoring of team members).
