Description
We are looking for a Task Manager to work for a leading defence company. They are offering a 6 month contract.
The successful candidate will have
hands on' role with the team however will also be in charge of a small group of technicians:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Planning and allocation of tasks to personnel.
Monitoring task progress to ensure completion within the planned time whilst being aware of cost constraints.
Ensuring that the necessary tools and materials are available and in a serviceable condition for use.
Ensuring personnel use the correct procedures, tools and materials when carrying out tasks.
Ensuring that employees comply with all relevant Health and Safety (H&S), Quality orders, procedures and instructions.
Ensuring that all personnel under their control are competent to perform allotted tasks and are familiar with all relevant procedures, instructions and local orders.
Undertake independent checks.
Ensuring Foreign Object Damage (FOD) control procedures are implemented and actioned.
Undertaking authorised work outside basic trade boundaries on tasks as required.
