The Individual
The ideal candidate will have good written and oral communication skills and will be keen to be part of a team but on some occasions be happy to work on their own. We are looking for individuals who would like to work in a happy stimulating environment and who would like to grow along with the development planning team.
Requirements
A graduate from transport, engineering or planning type backgrounds who as at least 2 years experience as a graduate planner with either private or public sector experience. This experience would be gained in producing transport assessments or their component parts. Modelling experience in such packages as OSCADY, ARCADY and PICADY would be expected along with knowledge of TRICS and other similar databases. Knowledge of the planning process and relevant national and regional guidance would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be an active team member and will be required to work on a number of varied transport related tasks simultaneously. This position will report to an Associate Director but the team includes Principal and Senior Transport Planners who can provide support and guidance where necessary.
