My client is the worlds leading manufacturer and supplier of electronic control solutions within the power generation industry.
The company has established an enviable reputation across the globe for its high quality, reliable product range and is now looking for a Systems Software Engineer to add to its expanding development team.
Working as part of a dedicated project team, you will be responsible for developing and testing software for new and existing products, using high level C/C++ and embedded code, in a real-time, control environment. Familiarity with ARM and Coldfire processors is required. You will also be responsible for testing and proving designs to product specifications and required industry standards, including environmental and EMC.
With a degree in a Software/Computer Engineering discipline you will have at least 5 years experience in a relevant position. You will have a background in a modern, fast moving product environment and will possess excellent working knowledge of modern microprocessor and micro controller designs.
You must also be conversant with ISO 9001 QA requirements and design rule checking of code, including MISRA. The ability to demonstrate previous experience of working within a team environment, delivering projects on time and taking responsibility for your own work is essential.
