Our client, a global telecoms company requires a Systems Integrator to join an existing team providing IT delivery services to a large Government end
lient. The successful must have strong skills in the following areas; UNIX, Internet technologies (web and mail) and networking technologies e.g routers, switches and firewalls. Experience of the following is highly desirable; Sendmail, Perl, shell scripting, C, DNS, key protocols (Http, TCP-IP and ICAP) and security. Candidates will be required to produce design documentation, and be experienced with standard development documents, including build documentation, test specifications and system administration guides. The ability to act as a technical contact for any 3rd party suppliers, and a proven track record of developing and implementing solutions is essential. As part of the development team, you may be occasionally required to work within the support team, and perform some out of hours support, on a rota basis. The successful applicant must be prepared to be put through security clearance if not already cleared. This is a contract vacancy, initially for 6 months to be based in Garforth just outside Leeds.
