Description
Systems Engineers required to work in South Wales or Gloucestershire on the FRES programme within a matrixed organisation who are a key player in the UK defence market.
Systems Engineers required to work in South Wales or Gloucestershire on the FRES programme within a matrixed organisation who are a key player in the UK defence market. The role is responsible for undertaking requirements analysis, detailed design, specification, prototype implementation and testing of the electronic aspects of the FRES electronic architecture and vehicle systems. You will work within a multi-disciplined team on the design of vehicle systems. To be considered for this excellent opportunity you should have electronic design experience (ideally degree qualified)coupled with applied working knowledge of EMC or TEMPEST and environmental design practises. Knowledge of both analogue and digital design is required, in addition to knowledge of the principles of electrical and electronics circuit design and experience of using a 3D CAD package. You must be confident interpreting electrical design requirements and proposing appropriate design solutions. Successful applicants will be required to obtain UK MOD security clearance prior to appointment.
