Our client is an established designer and manufacturer of control systems for water, food, oil, gas, and pharmaceutical industries. Due to increase in business, our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to write software according to Company Standard requirements and the requirements of customers. To ensure completion of projects to timescales and standard required for client and Company satisfaction. We are predominately looking for people with Mitsubishi experience, i.e.Mitsubishi Q Series, E Series LOI, Ifix SCADA. Applicants that are certified to Mitsubishi SI Programme would be advantageous.
Having a minimum of 2 years SCADA & PLC programming and a minimum of ONC in an engineering discipline, but preferably degree qualified. Applicants must be able to ensure that work undertaken adheres to the Companys working practices, and is of the highest quality. Must be able to create and maintain good working relationships with customers, as well as internal relationships with other colleagues and where applicable, sub-contractors and suppliers. Also to ensure that work carried out in accordance with current legislation and engineering standards.
Candidates must be able to:
•Manage specific projects which are allocated to your and to ensure the overall success of the Project (project to be implemented).
•Communicate effectively and in a professional manner with internal members of staff, the Customer, Consultants and Sub-contractors involved in the Project.
•Ensure that all design, software programming, testing, commissioning and documentation meet the customers requirements and the specific contract specification.
•Programme software using the latest technology and preferred engineering techniques.
•Monitor the costs on the specific projects allocated with minimum cost incurred and maximum profitability.
•Attend regular Contract Reviews with your Project Manager and other team members to ensure that any issues are resolved.
•Ensure that variations are issued to the customer as soon as they occur and that the information and associated work are processed internally and externally.
•Ability to prioritise workloads to achieve targets and minimise risks.
