Systems Design Engineer to £40k
A position has arisen for an experienced senior design engineer in with strong actuation systems and motor control experience. The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong design background in either hardware or software in aerospace / defence applications but a good appreciation of both disciplines. You will lead the actuation systems design aspects of hardware and software and work closely with functional design staff.
You will be responsible for systems design, systems requirements capture in DOORS, specification compliance, change management, customer liaison, design compliance, system integration and qualification of the design to DO254 & DO178 standards
This hands on role will call upon your design background and will require effective communication skills with a multi disciplined team.
- Systems definition , technology assessment
- Detailed systems design & technical proposals
- DOORs and requirements capture
- Systems specification and derivation
- Working knowledge of DO254 / DO178 standards & design processes
- Change management and control
- Man management and strong communication skills
- Strong technical leadership skill set
